Let's travel together on your road to recovery with the support of our Addiction Treatment Center! We offer comprehensive services, including DWI Assessments, Group Therapy, Individual Therapy, and Peer Support, to guide you on this journey.
We provide comprehensive services for individuals with substance use disorders at our Addiction Treatment Center. This outpatient service is available for three hours per day, at least three days per week, ensuring flexibility with day and evening options. This allows you to effectively balance your responsibilities at home, work, and school. Our program includes Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, DWI Assessments, and family counseling, along with drug screenings. We also develop customized treatment plans to prevent relapses, providing essential support to participants and their families, including Peer Support.
Individual-Individual Peer support services are a one-on-one evidence-based mental health model of care that includes certified peer support specialists. These specialists assist individuals in recovering from mental illness, substance use disorders, depression, and anxiety using their own life experiences. This approach is often utilized in Addiction Treatment Centers and can complement Individual Therapy.
Group-Group Peer support services represent an evidence-based mental health model of care that consists of certified peer support specialists who help their peers recover from mental illness and/or substance use disorders through shared life experiences in a group setting. This method is frequently integrated with Group Therapy sessions and is beneficial for those undergoing DWI Assessments as well.

Our Behavioral Health Center offers a safe, supportive environment where individuals can share their burdens and work through difficult emotions and experiences. We provide opportunities for Group Therapy and Individual Therapy, enabling clients to develop coping skills and find hope amidst pain.
Our services address a wide range of concerns, including sexuality, anxiety, depression, broken relationships, self-worth, and addiction. Additionally, we focus on life stressors, attachment injuries, trauma, work-life balance, self-compassion, communication issues, and spirituality, all while fostering a sense of Peer Support throughout the healing journey.

We will assist you in identifying problems that may be hindering your life goals, utilizing an array of tools and assessments including DWI assessments and individual therapy. Whether it's through group therapy or peer support, you already have everything you need inside of you. Let’s knock down the roadblocks and achieve your goals together.
Each person with a DWI will be required to receive a substance use assessment. The substance use assessment will determine the hours of treatment and education one must receive. Substance use assessments for DWI or only good for 6 months. Upon receipt of assessment you have 6 months to start your treatment and/or education.
Short Term Treatment in DWI services ranges from 20 -39 hours of substance use group treatment and education classes over a period of 30 days. Short-term treatment is recommended when one has mild to moderate substance use disorder, a BAC of .15 or higher at the time of arrest, and/or refused chemical test at the time of the arrest.
Longer-Term Treatment in DWI services ranges from 40-89 hours of substance use group treatment and education classes over a period of 60 days. Longer-term treatment is recommended when one has moderate to severe substance use disorder, more than one DWI, a BAC of .15 or higher at the time of arrest, and/or refused chemical test at the time of the arrest.
OUT OF STATE REVIEWS
Creating Milestones is an authorized North Carolina DWI provider approved to do out of state reviews. We will complete the review, process the information, and complete a Certificate of Completion (e-508 form) in order to resolve the outstanding DWI offense on your North Carolina record. You will receive a copy of the Certificate of Completion from us to keep for your records.

The Federal Drug Administration (FDA) defines Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, which is effective in the treatment of opioid use disorders (OUD) and can help some people to sustain recovery.
MAT programs provide a safe and structured delivery of medication to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms of opioid addiction. When combined with behavioral counseling, MAT medications can improve overall well-being and decrease the risk of relapse, with low potential for adverse effects.
MAT is often paired with additional therapies, as the care team sees fit. The goal of MAT medications is to promote long term recovery.
